Tim Brückner
(CEO)
Tim Brückner (born 1977) has been appointed as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as of 20 May 2019. He has been Langen-based DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG’s CFO since 1 February 2019. The trained banker obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration, Banking and Finance and his Master of Arts (Banking & Finance) at the Hochschule für Bankwirtschaft / Frankfurt School of Finance & Management between 2000 and 2005. During his studies, he worked as an analyst at BHF Bank AG and ING Investment Banking before moving to Global Advisory at HSBC in London. From 2007 to 2012, Mr. Brückner worked for Rothschild GmbH, most recently as Vice President and from 2012 to 2019 for Corpus Sireo Real Estate, including as Managing Director of the Luxembourg subsidiary and Head of Portfolio Management.
Gertraud Kälbli
(Member of Management Board)
Gertraud Kälbli (born 1956) was appointed as a member of the company's Executive Board with effect from 1 April 2023. Gertraud Kälbli has been working in the real estate industry for 30 years and has acquired comprehensive knowledge in real estate management in various functions, covering all areas in the life cycle of a property. Since mid-2019, Ms Kälbli has been responsible for investment management and treasury at the parent company DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG and serves as managing director of the numerous subsidiaries. Prior to this, Ms Kälbli worked for the American financial servicer Situs for 15 years in various positions, most recently as Head of Finance Europe. Ms Kälbli holds a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate Management from HAWK Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen.
Frank Hölzle
(Chairman of the Supervisory Board)
Frank Hölzle (born 1968) has a degree in economics (Diplom-Volkswirt) and is CEO of Care4 AG with registered offices in Basel, Switzerland. After completing his studies in economics at the University of Freiburg, Frank Hölzle acted as authorized signatory and general manager for a listed investment company in Marl and Frankfurt am Main from 1998 to 2002. In 2002, he became general manager of HvM-Consulting GmbH with registered offices in Düsseldorf. From 2003 to 2010, Mr. Hölzle was board member and partner of eCapital entrepreneurial Partners AG, a venture capital company with registered offices in Münster. In 2010, he joined Care4 AG, a Single Family Office in Basel, of which he has been CEO since 2015. Frank Hölzle holds other mandates with the supervisory boards of DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstands Real Estate AG, Westgrund AG and MobileObjects AG as well as with the administrative board of SlCinvent AG with registered offices in Basel, Switzerland. Mr. Hölzle is a trained coach for managing directors, board members and managers of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Frank Nickel
(Supervisory Board)
Frank Nickel (born 1959) has been Chief Executive Officer of DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG in Langen since 3 April 2024. Mr Nickel had already been advising the company as Senior Advisor since September 2022. From 2016 to 2019, Frank Nickel was Chairman of the Management Board of CA Immobilien Anlagen AG (CA Immo) in Vienna. Prior to that, he worked as Chairman of the Executive Board of Cushman & Wakefield Germany in Frankfurt from 2013 to 2015 and was Chairman of the Corporate Finance Business Unit of EMEA Cushman & Wakefield. In both positions, he gained extensive experience in the strategic realignment of property companies. From 2006 to 2012, Mr Nickel was Managing Director at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt. Prior to that, he worked, among others, at Fortress Investment Group Germany and Commerzbank.
Barbara Deisenrieder
(Supervisory Board)
Barbara Deisenrieder (born 1967) was appointed as member of the Supervisory Board of the Company effective 25 June 2020. Ms Deisenrieder holds positions on several supervisory and advisory boards and advises companies on a wide range of issues. As a graduate in business administration, she held various management positions within the Generali Group from 1999 to 2012, which included leading the Asset Management, Letting Coordination and Asset Management Services areas as of 2006. From 1986 to 1999, Ms. Deisenrieder assumed a range of roles in the Real Estate division of Erste Allgemeine Versicherungs AG. She has also co-authored several specialist books on real estate economics and works as a volunteer at both the Association of Women in Real Estate (Frauen in der Immobilienwirtschaft e.V.) and the Institute for Corporate Governance of the German Real Estate Industry (Institut für Corporate Governance in der deutschen Immobilienwirtschaft e.V.).
